I capture field recordings in nature preserves around the world, including audio, video, and photography. My focus is on natural soundscapes in the American National Parks, though I am on the hunt for new sounds and images wherever I am. This work serves as the basis for electro-acoustic pieces that blend natural sounds with instrumental music, academic research in soundscape ecology, and experimental use of audiovisual technology such as spatial audio and spectrogram analysis.
